Seven Waves

Made where every day feels like a holiday, bringing the spirit of the party in every pour.

Cachaça is a toast to the moment—a spirit born to be shared, just like the journey that led us here.

Andrea De Oliveira was born in Santos—a beachside city that’s not just known for its coastline, but also as one of Brazil’s oldest towns, home to some of the first cachaça distilleries and, according to some, the birthplace of the caipirinha.

Growing up in Brazil, cachaça was always part of the celebration—whether it was a family barbecue or a day at the beach with friends.

Later in life, after moving to Los Angeles, every trip back to Brazil came with requests to bring back a bottle (or three) of cachaça to her friends in the US.

Years later, while vacationing in Brazil with her husband, she stumbled upon something exciting: a new wave of small-batch, artisanal cachaças. These cachaças tasted nothing like the popular industrial ones from her youth. They brought new depth and complexity to the familiar spirit and felt like an invitation to explore the possibilities.

They dove headfirst into the world of cachaça distilleries—tasting, learning, and falling even more in love with the spirit. Friends back in LA couldn’t get enough, either. Their suitcases barely stood a chance.

Around that same time, a native Angeleno, Lisset Evans, was packing her bags— in search of an adventure in Brazil.

There, she found unforgettable moments and fell in love with the culture and rhythm of life in Brazil. Many of her fondest memories came with a caipirinha in hand.

Fast forward to 2021, and Andrea and Lisset became next-door neighbors. Cocktails by the pool turned into long conversations, shared stories, and eventually, a shared dream: to bring high-quality, organic cachaça to the U.S.

And so, Seven Waves was born— aiming to bring the spirit of togetherness and celebration experienced so vividly in Brazil.

The name is inspired by one of Brazil’s most magical traditions—New Year’s Eve. Fireworks light up the sky. Music fills the air. And after midnight, you head to the ocean, jumping over seven waves, wishing for luck in the year ahead.

Seven Waves captures that spirit. It’s artisanal cachaça, crafted sustainably, ready to bring the flavor and joy of Brazil to your glass.

So go ahead—pour yourself a drink. The journey’s just beginning.
